Lily Pads provide cover
for bait fish and several species of game fish. This area isn't
very deep and if you look closely you can see that there are
a couple stumps in the water. There are also several underwater
stumps so one must be careful navigating through an area like
this. There is also a drop off running along the out side edge
of these lily pads.
Swimming a plastic
worm though the openings in the pads is a good choice as is
dragging a plastic frog over the surface. Anything you throw
into an area like this should be very weedless. Be sure to fish
the outside of edge of the weed line with anything that resembles
a bait fish.
